These terms apply to every order you place on this website. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order you agree to them.
1. About us
This website is operated by [BUSINESS NAME], trading as PocketPixal. Our address is [BUSINESS ADDRESS]. You can contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL].
2. Ordering
- You must be 18 or over and have a UK delivery address to place an order.
- When you place an order we email you to say we’ve received it. This is not yet acceptance. Our contract with you begins when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched.
- We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, we suspect fraud, or there’s an obvious pricing error. If so, we’ll tell you and refund anything you’ve paid in full.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT.
- Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. See our Delivery page.
- Payment is taken when you place your order. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
4. Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses only. Estimated delivery times are on our Delivery page. We’ll deliver within 30 days of your order unless we agree a different time with you. If we can’t, you can cancel and get a full refund. The goods are your responsibility from the moment they’re delivered to the address you gave us.
5. Your right to cancel
You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it. You pay the cost of returning the item, and we refund the price and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving it back. To cancel, email [SUPPORT EMAIL]. Full details are on our Returns & refunds page.
6. Faulty items
We have a legal duty to supply goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If your item is faulty or damaged, you’re entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and we cover the return costs. See our Returns & refunds page for how to claim.
7. Using your PocketPixal
- PocketPixal contains a rechargeable battery. Charge it with a suitable USB-C cable and charger, don’t leave it charging unattended for long periods, and keep it away from water, heat and direct sunlight.
- Don’t open, puncture or modify the device.
- It isn’t a toy. Keep it away from young children.
- Flashing lights may affect people with photosensitive epilepsy.
Damage caused by misuse, accidents, water or ordinary wear and tear isn’t a fault.
8. Our responsibility to you
- If we break these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We’re not responsible for loss or damage that isn’t foreseeable.
- We supply products for domestic and private use only. We aren’t liable for any loss of profit, business or business opportunity.
- We don’t exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breaching your legal rights in relation to the products.
9. Events outside our control
We’re not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as courier strikes, severe weather or supplier disruption. If that happens we’ll tell you as soon as we can. If the delay is significant, you can cancel and get a refund for anything you’ve paid for but not received.
10. Your personal information
We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy policy.
11. Complaints
If you have a problem, email [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we’ll do our best to resolve it quickly. If we can’t, you may be able to use Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk, 0808 223 1133) or take the matter to court.
12. General
- We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the website when you place your order applies to that order.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can bring legal proceedings in your local courts and Scottish or Northern Irish law applies as relevant.
- Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
